"The mission of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry is to transform dentistry for better health, by becoming the global model for oral health education.

The school offers a DDS program, as well as graduate dental studies in all nine specialties recognized by the American Dental Association.

The school serves patients in three clinics: undergraduate student clinics, graduate student clinics and the UNC Dental Faculty Practice office.

Students are committed to passionately serving their people, community and field, both locally and across the globe. Many volunteer in local clinics providing oral health education, and others travel abroad to study at international dental schools and serve at-risk patients."
